Indi Forde

Indi Forde brings soul and groove to our PRZ Live events with class. He was first discovered by Midge Ure whilst playing the live circuit in Bristol and Bath.  He subsequently worked with producer Sam Williams (Supergrass, Plan B) and session drummer Clive Deamer (Radiohead, Portishead) to create his first solo album, 'Silverscreens'. Since, he has supported Dina Carroll, Wallis Bird, Willy Mason and many others as a solo act, but is also front man of pop/funk outfit Indi and The Vegas. Indi is also an accomplished songwriter, having worked with Torqux (MTA Records) on their single ‘Silhouette’ which received plays on Radio1 Extra and Kiss FM, as well as featuring on the 5th season of E4’s Misfits.

As a solo artist, armed with a loop pedal and electric guitar, Indi states this allows him to ‘create a full sound and impress with solos where possible’. He isn’t a run-of-the mill acoustic act, describing his sets as ‘soulful, relaxing and entertaining’. He pours passion into his sets, stating that weddings are his favourite to play -as long as ‘everyone is up for a party.’ His wedding anthem of choice is ‘I’ll Be There’ by The Jackson 5, whereas at parties it’s Paul Simon’s ‘Call Me Al.’ This is just a small dose of what he is capable of playing, happy to learn one cover for an event in addition to an already 150+ strong tracklisting to choose from. With musical influences such as Queen, Michael Jackson and Prince, you’ll be in for a funkadelic, soaring performance.
