Mark Sullivan Films Video With Viral Sensation - Wurd Sessions!

September 29, 2016

With a fast growing interest from social media video channels who are using the studio we had the pleasure of welcoming Wurd Sessions to the amazing Room 6 this week....

The guys from this extremely popular on-line video channel booked a session to come and film the hugely talented rising Hertfordshire star, Mark Sullivan playing a cover of Rag'N'Bone man's 'Human'.  Mark was seen performing at notorious London venue, The Sebright Arms a few months back by the team and they were quick to get a session in with the local singer/songwriter.

Wurd Sessions is the brainchild of James and Gemma and has been present since back in 2015, only recently hitting viral fame with the channel propelling into the 000's of subscribers and a humongous reach on popular social hub Facebook.

With a real eye for making good music videos the pair have totally grasped the concept of up and coming stars giving them a platform to showcase their own material as well as covering popular hits from the charts or other areas of music.  This session with Mark saw him play a hottly tipped new track from the Rag 'N Bone man as well as one of his own tracks that is going to be on his next EP, 'Warm Your Bones'.  With this session, as we have all the gear in place to track Live recordings, it seemed silly not to take full advantage of this and record the session.  It was a pretty amazing day and the guitar and vocal skills of Mark were incredible as always, leaving the seasoned channel producers and us in awe of the performance.

All in all it was excellent from start to finish and we are looking forward to the guys coming back for another video shoot soon!  To find out more about Mark and his upcoming events, click here.  To see and hear his brilliant cover of 'Human' by The Rag'n'Bone man then you need to go check out the finished product here.
