We have been busy bee's here at Unit 6 Records working relentlesly with our first signing Live//Learn. The boys Joe, Andrew, Conor and Alex have been putting in a lot of work ahead of the band's launch early next year. With the first two releases out and up on the Soundcloud page, we got ready for a hometown gig at Club 85 Hitchin. This was the first Unit 6 Record's night and we had support from the very talented George Peachtree and his band. The idea was to transform the venue into something that resembled the dark underground clubs in London with minimal lighting and our very own custom live visuals. George Peachtree took to the stage first delivering a super performance with an interesting mix of vocal harmonising and varied sound pallet. As the night went on the crowd was growing to make a great vibe ahead of the first hometown showing of Live//Learn. The boys came on and dowsed the now misty smoke filled club with their sumptuous sub basses and haunting vocals, leaving plenty of room for the well engineered drum patterns and perfectly executed guitar riffs to cut through the elegant beams of light illuminating each band member. Behind all this the sound reactive visuals made the whole show a mesmirising night for all who attended, truly putting the name on the map.
