Magnafest 2018 returns at The White Lion, Walkern under new pub management.
The always highly anticipated three day festival will be taking place over August 10th -12th and as usual will be free to attend with an all new twist on this years layout.... With new management stepping in this year, owners Gary and have a real keen interest to keep the pub firmly anchored to it's high level of entertainment which so many love. After only a few months at the helm they acquired the land behind the pub which has allowed them to expand the garden area, doubling it's size and some! This, of course, is great news for the yearly festival as it allows for a bigger stage and the ability to accommodate many more people, as we all know Magnafest was bursting at the seams in 2017!!
Well, this years show will be no different as we anticipate record numbers over the August bank holiday weekend with mobile food vendors, outside bars and all new staging ready for action. The last few weeks has seen the White Lion fully grasping World Cup Fever, bringing in an inflatable game viewing cube which has been the talk of the town for recent weeks! And whilst they have been seeing record numbers of punters what better way to advertise the August festival.... and what a weekend it's going to be!! With performances of all genres we are really hoping there is something for everyone to enjoy ranging from solo musicians to established bands and even a Rock Choir on the bill for 2018!
