WE ROCKED THE PARK!!!

Well, we look forward to it every year... and this year was most definitely the best yet!

The annual free entry Stevenage Day was back in full force and obviously that comes hand in hand with the mighty Rock In The Park! Now, we have been working on progressing this festival every year since music became a thing at Stevenage's biggest day in the calendar and it seems to be heading towards a big festival status as we entered the 4th year of piecing it all together. It's always a big task to organise the artists for this as we get more and more applicants every year wanting to play on the now twin stage set up in King George playing fields. Now there is more of a team feel to the event it's great to see people enjoying the efforts that have been put together within our camp here at the studio, ESS and Rock In The Park along with the town council.

This year it was the second time we had run with the twin stage set up (supplied by ESS) and with things progressing to more of a festival vibe the site was split into the normal show ground for Stevenage Day and then a whole area which incorporated the music stages, food court area and bar which all seemed to work extremely well. Onlookers saw some of the best local talent on the scene with appearances from The Mark Sullivan Band, rockers Almamor and Tai Music, semi finalist on this years The Voice to name a few, with the crowd maintaining full attendance throughout the day.

All in all the day was a complete success and everyone who played was on top of their game, you can check the full line up out here. As we now move to the second half of the year we look forward to planning next years event and make sure you keep an eye out for the application form which will be out later this year on the PRZ Live page.
